How verification works

Every provider on simsim shows a badge and a "last verified" date, so you know how much we've checked.

The badges

• Listed — compiled from public information. We haven't confirmed it with the provider yet.
• Verified — we contacted the provider and confirmed they exist and offer the service listed.
• Pro — a verified provider with priority placement.

Last verified

Profiles show when we last checked — for example, "Last verified 8 days ago" — so you can judge how fresh the information is.

What we don't do

simsim is a directory. We don't run background checks or collect government IDs, and we don't employ or supervise providers. Agree the price upfront and use your own judgement when you meet someone.
